UGENE for youth School of Synthetic Biology at NSU
At the end of August, NSU gathered biology and medical tudents from all over Russia to teach genetic engineering skills within the NTI profile. Young researchers learn how to conduct complex wet experiments in the laboratory and process biological data on desktop. Our bioinformatics package UGENE helps them to implement computing tasks.
Today, representatives of Unipro team met with the school participants, telling about the project and the company, answered questions about the software functionality and its development plans.
Cooperation with the NTI Genomic Editing profile continues. Every year thousands of participants in the NTI Olympiad launch the necessary algorithms for working with genetic sequences in UGENE to achieve the desired results.
