GeneCut software presented on BGRS/SB-2022
On the first week of July, 13th International Multiconference on “Bioinformatics of Genome Regulation and Structure / Systems Biology” – BGRS/SB-2022 was held in Novosibirsk. UNIPRO bioinformatics team has been participating in this conference since 2006, talking about their achievements in the development of science-intensive software, often in co-authorship with partner scientists.
This year our report was devoted to the original software GeneCut, created in partnership with the ICBFM SB RAS for the design of oligonucleotides, assembly and cloning of gene constructs. This program allows one to implement computer simulation of DNA sequence splitting into short fragments (oligonucleotides) and then assemble them into new sequences. Correctness of the results of computer assembly of synthetic DNA sequences from the program-generated oligonucleotides was confirmed by biologists in experiments.
GeneCut is web-based product and now is on beta testing stage. Interested researchers can access it writing to the developers team.
