“We have been collaborating with Unipro for over 10 years, and throughout these years, we have consistently seen the high quality of their work in implementing complex system-level software. There are very few such professionals in the country — these are truly rare specialists.”
“For the wide adoption of the Elbrus platform, it is crucial to be able to run all the same programs that work on other popular processor platforms. This means that all popular programming languages need to be supported. Unipro's contribution in this area is invaluable, as their engineers have ported, improved, and optimized programming language environments like Java, JavaScript, and C# over many years. Entire organizations are now using these environments, with Unipro's specialists providing technical support.”
“The Unipro team is also involved in optimizing mathematical libraries for the Elbrus platform, such as OpenCV — a widely used computer vision library.”
“We hope our cooperation will continue for many years to come.”

“The 'Genome Editing' track of the National Technology Olympiad (NTO) is organized by the initiative of IHBFM SB RAS and NSU. Every year, several thousand students from grades 8-11 across all regions of the country participate in the qualifying round, along with over five hundred students from more than fifty universities. The track tasks test knowledge in synthetic biology, genetic engineering, molecular biology, and bioinformatics, with case studies and assignments. The developers of the 'Genome Editing' track use UGENE in their research work.”
“The advantages of UGENE include its open-source code, a Russian-language interface, detailed instructions on the ugene.net website, and a comprehensive set of functions. In 2020, in collaboration with UGENE developers, a course titled 'Practical Bioinformatics' was recorded, which is actively used not only by participants of the 'Genome Editing' track but also by beginners to the program. Unipro employees regularly meet with the finalists of the school and student tracks of the NTO and give lectures as part of the Synthetic Biology School.”
“We thank the Unipro development team for the UGENE software product, which can be used not only by adult researchers but also by eighth-graders! We look forward to further cooperation!”
