OpenMeetings
Teleconferencing (Apache Openmeetings) is an open-source video conferencing system distributed under the Apache license.
The Teleconferencing system provides standard video conferencing system functionality:
- Hold online conferences and webinars in a virtual room with up to 100 participants;
- Schedule future conferences in the calendar;
- Create an unlimited number of public and private virtual rooms;
- Send invitations to participants with room links via email and SMS from the calendar of scheduled meetings and directly from the room;
- Exchange messages in private and group chat;
- Draw and write on a virtual whiteboard;
- Upload images, videos, and documents to the virtual whiteboard;
- Record meetings in AVI and FLV formats and view them;
- Share the screen of one of the participants.
Data transmission is possible over both unsecured (http, rtmp) and secured protocols (https, rtmps), with OAUTH and LDAP user authorization.
For increased performance, multiple Teleconferencing servers can be clustered.
Five developers of the project, including the system's chief architect, work in our company.
