Unipro Engineers Participate in CompTech@NSK

As part of the CompTech@Nsk Winter School, organized by NSU, Unipro employees delivered two lectures: "JIT Compilers" and "Key Features of Modern Processors: A Comparison Between Classic x86 (Intel) and VLIW (Elbrus) Architectures." These topics were drawn from the practical work of our system software development department, which has been developing compilers and virtual machines for various clients for many years. Over the last five years, a significant portion of our work has focused on the Russian hardware platform "Elbrus," for which we have developed several versions of Java virtual machines, two versions of JavaScript, and the first version of C#. Our ongoing work on mathematical libraries is also integrated into the Elbrus operating system.

At the CompTech Winter School, Unipro engineer and 6th-year NSU student Alexander is co-supervising one of the teams of young programmers working on small software projects as part of the school. The final event of the school will take place on Sunday, February 4, where certificates will be awarded to all participants, and prizes will go to the most active ones.
