Java on Elbrus Rules!

Unipro's young engineers presented a report on the development of a Java Virtual Machine for the Russian Elbrus architecture at the first Novosibirsk Java conference JBreak on March 19. The technological aspects, such as the development of JIT compilers for the specific architecture, practical tips on how to efficiently write Java applications for Elbrus, and comparisons with the widely-used x86 architecture, sparked great interest among the audience. The presenters answered numerous questions.
