CAE-system UBasis

The purpose:

to provide engineering personnel with the tool visualizing physical processes in various operating modes of the equipment. It will allow to optimize technical parameters, to reduce working costs, to prevent emergency situations. Real efficiency of mathematical modelling requires adequacy of used models, reliability, guaranteed accuracy and efficiency of numerical computations, user-friendly program.

Application domains:

• electrical equipment, electromagnetic investigations
• interpretation of geophysics measurements
• complex modeling of fields in aluminium electrolyzer 
• high-tension constructions.

This solution can be successfully implemented in a wide range of industries in which there is a need in powerful and fast tools for modeling of electric, magnetic and thermal fields.

System that modeling and visualizing physical processes includes the following modules: 

1. Complex of computing modules for preliminary processing of the starting material and representation of internal data structure, procedures of discretization and approximation of boundary problems for set of the differential equations, solving of received algebraic systems.
2. The postprocessor for processing and preparations for visualization of three-dimensional fields.
3. Graphical user interface for representation of color images of three-dimensional objects with opportunities of axonometric and halftone presentations, their modifications and editing. GUI allows to input of the starting geometric and functional data interactively, visualize results of computation and manage the computing session.

The bottom line:

UniPro specialists developed and implemented a number of optimizing algorithms which allow to reduce computing resources which such systems usually require. Industrial experiments show that in electric fields modeling tasks UBasis is ~100 times faster than other CAE-systems without loss of accuracy and on a lot of units.
